The short version

Caneeli Designs collects only the information needed to process your order and communicate with you about it. Your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — Annie never sees or stores your card number. Your information is never sold.

What information is collected

When you place an order, the following information is collected:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your shipping address
  • Your payment information (processed by Stripe — see below)

If you use the contact form, your name and email address are collected along with your message. No account creation is required to place an order.

How your information is used

Your information is used only to:

  • Process and fulfill your order
  • Send you an order confirmation and shipping notification
  • Respond to questions or messages you send
  • Communicate about a custom commission if you've requested one

Your email address will not be added to a marketing list without your explicit opt-in.

Payment processing and Stripe

All payments on this site are processed by Stripe. When you enter your card details at checkout, that information goes directly to Stripe — it is never transmitted to or stored on Caneeli's servers. Caneeli Designs does not store, log, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or bank account details.

Stripe has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle your payment data. You can read it at stripe.com/privacy.

Data sharing

Your personal information is not sold, rented, or traded to third parties. The only third parties who may receive limited information are:

  • Stripe — to process your payment
  • Shipping carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc.) — to deliver your order

These parties receive only what's needed for their specific role.

Cookies

This site uses basic session cookies only — used to keep your shopping cart intact while you browse. No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies are used. Session cookies expire when you close your browser.

Your rights

You have the right to know what personal information Caneeli holds about you, to request a copy, and to request that it be corrected or deleted (subject to any legal or business requirements). To make any of these requests, send an email to hello@caneeli.com.

Security

The site uses HTTPS throughout. Sensitive payment data is handled by Stripe and is not stored on this site. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but reasonable care is taken to protect the information collected.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
